History
Wilson Garden Center Inc. has been servicing the
greater Butler County area for over 30 years. The business started
with Steve's love of working outside and creativity for designing
landscapes. For the first few years Steve and wife Carol lived in
the county and operated out of their home, but quickly out grew the area
for keeping trees and shrubbery.
A realtor friend called Steve one day and said he had the perfect place
for business with a convenient location and an ample supply of water.
They purchased three and a half acres on Jacksonburg rd. near the corner
of St. Rt. 127. Wife Carol runs the Garden Center with the help of
daughter Cheryl and daughter-in-law Dana. Steve and son Chris take
care of the business. Being the only business with a full tree
service, retail sales, design and landscape installation, and a fully
stocked nursery keeps them together as a family constantly.
Future
Chris plans to keep growing the business like it has
for the past 25 years into the next generation with the aspirations that
his children will take his place.
